Wu Sih-Chin was born in Tainan/Taiwan, graduated from Department of Sculpture, National Taiwan University of Arts, and received Master’s degree from National Taipei University of Arts. He mostly used sculpture as medium, and sampled from his personal experience. Referring the method of modeling, Wu made sculpture that emphasizes process and narrative. He participated many exhibitions inside and outside of the country, including France, Italy, and Japan. From 2013 till 2014 Wu lived in Australia for eighteen months, a different lifestyle changed his recent works, which took a turn to focus on the situation of humans, animals, and nature.
