The feet on this project are a direct transfer of my mother. There are marks that are made to represent the injuries and the recovery of her. The feet are able to be stored into the box and hung in the inside. This simulates the thigh and the calf and how legs bend. Also, there is a mechanism like a hinged door that could open and close. This mechanism connects two trapezoid-shaped boxes. Then with the natural gravity of the boxes, it holds on to the pedestal. At the same time, the bended legs hangs out both sides of the box and forms a M like figure. Then I added wheels to the pedestal, what I imaged was that the hinges would be able to hold the wheels on both sides closer. When the pedestal is pulled out and the box is in an upright position, both of the feet would be hidden in the box, in a storage state.
