Symphony Project – I.Violin is an interdisciplinary work featuring dance and interactive musical instruments by choreographer Huang Yi and sound artist Wang Chung-Kun.

The dancer’s movement in the lighted area is detected, analyzed, and encoded as data connected to the violin playing. The dance is thus synchronized with the music. In order to enrich the variety of the performance and to improve the precision, different techniques such as the full-scale interaction, activated interaction after coded structure, or instrument solo are adopted alternatively in different sections.
