Can image become substance? Through embroidery, I create an interface conformed to the surface of the photographed. The manual operation corresponds to the immediate situation of photo-shooting to narrate a physical experience. The physical experience is very different from the visual experience of image. The repetitive movements reveal a slight trace of sensitivity. When standing in front of the work, viewers also see the water splash, the colored streamer in the rice field, and the rain from various perspectives because of their physical movements. Each frame is associated to the artist’s experience of that particular moment.
