N.B. The exhibition was the precursor to the “Taipei Biennale” , called “Taipei Fine Arts Museum New Forecasts Exhibition”, it was the largest competitive modern art exhibition, carried the largest prize and was attended most widely in the country. After consideration by the judges, the top two pieces of art were put on show.
