The work comes from my physical suffering of my personal experience. No one knows the secret under my clothes. While I try to hide my physical trauma, I also desire to be understood and to be loved. The self-contradictory impulses become the inspiration of the work. In the work, I create a collage of a new face chart – a new interpersonal communicational tool. Hands thus become new interpretative symbols to construct a new language.
