Cement Factory attempts to describe the image of an embraced body in a detached visual style. It is a collaged image without an explicit narrative, while symbols exist in the contradictory relationship between industrial scenes and natural species. In the image, a little black dog floats around, signifying that the scene takes place in an unnatural space. In reality, however, it is a natural species that coexist with the factory and is mutually dependent on each other. The habitation of the daily objects is constituted by a large amount of cement, which establishes a space of daily activities. However, what I intend to explore is its origin. The surroundings are full of artificial messages and a small number of people working at the corner of the cement plant without being noticed. Nevertheless, it can create buildings to house so many people. There is a bizarre force struggling between such a contradiction and such a creation – it is the gap I am interested in.
