The world divided by national boundaries is turned into a rice ball (mochi) with each grain of rice blended together. Each distinctively separated rice grain has fused into a borderless world. An individual rice-size piece is then pinched from the big glob of borderless rice ball and then squeezed onto the world map on the wall that is covered by black tape. The reconstituted “rice grain” is pressed repetitively, until it blends and disappears into the pitch-black world map.
