The Childhood Series was presented by Chen in 2015 during his artist residency at Berlin, German. Continuing his creational realization of describing stories among different mediums, this series also contains images, photograph, audios and texts, etc. Through these seemingly very individual stories and images, those long forgotten historical memories as well as political reality behind these stories are able to be released and awaked; Chen intends to create possible conversations in-between and thus provides some implications regarding solutions for the future. Artworks in this series include Childhood Memories, Excerpt (Remake), Photo Album, Television Program, and Playground (A.H).
