The ideas of creating the "Sound of Bottles" came from the sounds made by bottles when air is blown into them. A simple bottle has rich overtones whose frequencies can be changed through alteration of water levels, air flow or back-and-forth movement. With two bottles, the interference of the audio frequencies creates more effects. Electromagnetic gas valves control the tempos through the signals of 0 and 1 sent by an Arduino microcontroller board (the same principle is applied to the switches of appliances using alternating currents). Together with some other sounds recorded by digital tools in real-time, the bottles produce peculiar sound effects.
