This work appropriated a photo of a sumptuous banquet that took place before the G8 summit that was supposed to discuss the food crisis in Japan. It was published in The Guardian last summer. In a seemingly happy and theatrical way, it satirized the bubble way of life in the First World countries when facing the food crisis. Exquisite and intricate, with a focus on handwork, appropriation of images and low-budget, it is presented in a visually pretentious, ostentatious, and highly decorative manner.
