“Projected History- Local Micro-narration” is an experimental art exhibition, which will hold at night during Dec this year in Southern Taiwan. The core space of this program is in “MIGA”, which is an alternative art space near by the TNNUA in Daci Village, Guantian Township, Tainan County. We wish through a serious of contemporary art exhibitions and other cultural activities of this program, to intimate with the native residents and wish to create a inter communication with local culture.

In the very beginning of this program, the curators started from the latitude and longitude (23.185183, 120.373283) of Wu Shang Tou(the black hill), where TNNUA located , as the origin place of our history. In using local history as our historical description axis, we intent to rethink and reconnect the history. To present our own reflect of history, we first choose the alternative space “MIGA” which name comes from the Hoklo (Taiwanese) language, which means “The Rice Mill”. “MIGA” built in 1940’s and was originally FengMou rice mill, after it was abandoned; the students of Graduate Institute of Architecture of TNNUA turned it into an art space. For it long duration and with different faces in time, makes “MIGA” become a space with rich story in its life.

With such story rich space, the exhibition intent to invite several contemporary artists, each individual artist will show one’s micro-narration through their creation and their works will also in twine with the space story to project a micro history to the audiences.
