Exercise Trilogy was made at the scene at Treasure Hill Artist Village in Taipei, Crane Gallery in Kaohsiung, and Five Piers in Tainan respectively. By exercising in new ways (badminton, table tennis, Hula loop) in space of different quality, the artist observed how a body develops new means to cope with space and objects that seems familiar yet strange. Especially when a body starts exercising, a body has no choice but swift from original moving mode according to the space and the objects. A body has to find a new way to respond because the game does not follow the original rules. Meanwhile, the artist also observed space mutation because of involvement of sports equipment and events.
