Because of the sense of absurdity and detachment prompted by Taiwanese-dubbed Japanese pornography, I began to search for various ways that private parts were referred to in early Taiwanese, and I visited a scholar, Mr. Lin, with the materials that I’ve found. Lin then explained the cultural context of different terms based on pictographic, linguistics, origins, and literary references.
