This project, through the theme of skin, attempts to reveal group social psychology and its paranoia towards skin conditions. Through photographic records of skin lesions, I replicate said skin with silicon, and color the skin with medicinal liquid to emulate the biological conditions of the skin. With a lens similar to the methods of medical categorization, where a microscopic, magnifying, and repeated observation of skin occurs, I capture the symptoms described through photography and draw out the abstractness of the converted symptom. I compare the body's phenomenon that is on the surface, in flux, and attached to the surface of the skin with images. This exhibition is realized by Dimension Endowment Of Art. It is separated into two exhibitions spaces, one on the first floor and one in the basement. The first floor space shows a waiting room populated by medical photography and medical illustration; the basement space places a surgery bed as its center point, implying the intimacy and technicality of skin physiology and social behavior.
