There are four characters here. Each character is performed by a kind of dish, and all dishes are once packed in the same soy-stewed pork lunch box. In this work, same footages will be repeated twice completely, the only difference is conversation: because of the distinction between verb form of these two titles (called/calling), characters’ attitudes towards the object “Spring” change radically. To be honest, the filming technique of this video is quite simple (and cheap). But if we suddenly understand that this micro theater prototype can be copied thousand times—which means that when we eat/play/waste the meaning of a lunch box, we are eating/playing/wasting thousands lunch box simultaneously—telling a political fable with daily objects becomes more than a game.
