It is a series about the gap between reality and imagination. As a foreigner lives in Czech Republic, I felt that everyday people gave me the look with the questions: Who are you? Where are you from? What are you doing here? Meanwhile I also try to understand and know this country better. The
curiosity and questions from both side created the distances.

Most of my friends back home think that living and studying in Europe is like a beautiful dream, like a child lives in big amusement park. However, by looking from the surface, it is not possible to understand how it is in real. The imagination then created a big distant with the reality. Therefore the series -Distantland (like the famous amusement park “Disneyland.) was created.
