In the work "Landscape" created in 2010, the artist tried to find the previous resident of a now-abandoned house in a military dependents’ village, and record his life story and his journey back to China to visit relatives on behalf of his father. During the interview, the interviewee invited the artist to the memorial hall of soldiers to offer sacrifices to his father. The artist then narrated the man’ s life story with the photo documents and the contents of interview, along with audio installations, at the site of the abandoned house, which was steeped in history due to urban development. The artist also transformed these materials into a tourist guide-like printed product and exhibited it in galleries.
