Urban civilization is a trace of occurred surroundings, it is a human defined general value. However, civilization is mostly a romantic impression to me. Civilization will not stop progressing passionately, it transformed into a imagination of Utopia. I attempted to use all the inner symbols of my personal life experience and realization to present the existing state between self and environment and to reflect the Mental Imagery. I expect to unfold a narrating life experience through imagine past, present and future. The symbols inspired by it are civilization I created.

I turned urban civilization into a method to read and see a map. It even turned into a atypical map, beyond one’s imagination. The map consists of many tribes, it reflects in the contemporary context of coexisting opinions and how people have physically changed while facing 3C products and information overflown. The urban habitants seem to be confident and playful, but the inner and physical state is gradually transmuted into disorientation, pessimism, alienation, anxiety, Nihilism. Therefore, under the deduction of multiple debates, the urban habitants lost the ability to face their physical state. But tribes have always been a very important channel for human connection, no matter in the past or present. Even the virtual platform of Facebook has become a type of tribe for human connection and communication. People made Facebook into many tribes. If you expand it, then it has become a big platform like Google Map for reading and seeing. But again, it is actually telling a unique way to see the contemporary urban living space. It provides a vision of future cities and spaces. Returned to a humanistic approach to explore the concept and feelings of living spaces, as a member of contemporary cities, I desire to apply my imagination to the new ways of seeing and observe, peek and produce the metal state of the urban habitants as a whole.
