The work “Love NCKU” is made up of an array of colorful hearts, within which the blue hearts form the letters “NCKU.” This represents both the contributions of students, teachers and alumni have made to Cheng Kung Hall and their collective aspirations for its future. This piece also symbolizes love, care, magnanimity and passion, and the seeds of love that infuse the world with brilliant colors and the vibrance of life. The graceful and transparent light alludes to the countless gentle hearts that make education possible. A construct of water and light, absorbs, reflects and comes together as seeds of love that help students grow through learning and imbues Cheng Kung Hall with a new and vital energy.
