The structure of this project is different from her previous works. Wang adds more freedom to the shape and settings of "No. 70". The installations are no longer adjusted to fit the building and thus provide a more relaxed interaction environment. It gives me a sense of relaxation partly because that Wang seems to adopt a more leisurely attitude in dealing with the form of her installations. She even gives up strict pattern-making and sews some fabric pieces together to make folded edges that match the structure of the exhibition hall. This kind of fold has never played a significant role in Wang's previous projects, which are composed in a minimalist style and leave no room for redundancy. The visual appearance of those membrane-like structures is exceptionally clean, precise and accurate, showing a sign of mysophobia.
