Born in Taiwan in 1982, live in Kaohsiung now. Tsui Tsai-Shan is a quarter indigenous. Adept at transforming natural sounds, conversation, music and stories into material for her work, Tsui often presents these elements in the form of performance, music, dance, and song. Utilizing red yarn as her main material, Tsui symbolizes the connection between people, but also disrupts the meaning of space and time.
In 2017, she was invited by the German Ponderosa Art Village to serve as a body development teacher, and she also on behalf of Taiwan to participate in the "Chouftouhonna Festival International D'ART FEMINISTE DE TUNIS" in Tunisia, 2018; meanwhile, she was awarded the "Inclusive Art" subsidy by the National Culture and Arts Association in the same year. She implemented the "Invisible Salt X Touchable Fields" Xincen and the Yancheng community exchange creation plan, which now is proceeding with the "Floating Island" program in Xincen, 2020.
