This series of work symbolizes our manic lives. Instead of using canvas and pigment as a media, I use skin and blood to express the gesture of those tremble souls. The trauma transforms from mental scare into visible skin crust. Reveal the intangible sensation on the surface of our human suite. Skin and flesh wound mimics the different levels of tints and shades just like traditional Chinese Calligraphy. These body totems literally memorized the repeated wound and represented to us both the traces of hurting and healing.
