Art critic, and curator. CHANG received a M.A. from Tainan National University of the Arts in 2002 and a Ph.D. from National Taiwan University of Arts in 2011. She was Chief Editor of Artist Magazine, from 2004 to 2010 and writes frequently for this magazine and Modern Art. AS a curator, CHANG organized thematic exhibitions such as Future Flash Fiction(2015), Idealized Fiction-- Wu Tung-Lung Solo Exhibition(2015), Art as Socia Interaction—Hong Kong / Taiwan(2014), Schizophrenia Taiwan 2.0 (2013-2015), Asia Cruise-- Island of Ghost (2013), It Takes Four Sorts: A Cross-Strait Four-Regions Artistic Exchange, Crush on EMU (2012), Xing-Dian Boys (2012), Weak Painting (2009), The Empire Strikes Back (2008), and Depth of Surface – New Spaces of Contemporary Painting (2004).CHANG is also an assistant professor in National Hsinchu University of Education for Curatorial Studies, Art Criticism and Contemporary Art Studies. She has also written many catalogs, articles, and books, including Emerging Taiwanese Painters (2013), Tsong Pu: The World Comes from Existence (2010), and Playing / Interaction (2003). Among her honors she has received Merit Award for DEOA Artistic Critic Award from DEOA (Dimension Endowment of Art, 1999) and The Golden Tripot Award for the Best Editor from Government Information Office of Executive Yuan(2005).
