Jian, Yi-Hong (born 1988, Taiwan) graduated from M.F.A, Taipei National University of the Arts. The symbols, boy and uncle, appear repetitively in the work. The images of two subjectivities emerge when they gaze at themselves and look at each other. Boy and uncle are the co-producers in my work. For a long time we work together, exchange the ideas, plot the text, rehearse events, and act out. On the stage/in the work, the dynamics involving love or power, activity or passivity, aggression or concession, communication or negotiation, and a blind alley or a way out are uncovered in the interaction between boy and uncle. I draw what they play, becoming a 3-person relationship. Recently have some important exhibition include, 2019 Taipei, Michael Ku gallery solo exhibition‘‘Love Wholeheartedly’’. Hong Kong, David Zwirner‘ ‘Singing the Body Electric’’. 2017 Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts‘‘Tropical Cyclone’’. Taipei Fine Arts Museum‘‘RIVERRUN’’.
