Scenery Making Machine
People used to view scenery as an exit, a way to escape from our daily life. That is the reason why photographers are encouraged to take photos of exotic scenery. But what it will be intrigue if a scenery not so typical? I took photos of scenery not so beautiful and use projector to make them reveal in the city.

My Scenery Only for You
2015
Through a cognitive analysis of what constitutes popular expectation toward ‘landscapes’, his projects also simultaneously fabricate a genealogy for the unpleasant ‘non-landscapes.’ This quest serves as his protest against the saturated color scheme and pretentious grandeur in the monotonous visual presentation found in exiting landscape photography in the parklands in Taiwan, as well as his jabs at the psychological need of the viewer and image-maker for a way out of the immediate social sit ...

Phenomena World
2015
Monitors always make me feel bizarre, because the part of them I could touch is boring, whereas the part of them I couldn’t touch is intriguing. When seeing monitors directly, I can only feel either boring or intriguing at one time. Through photography, however, I am able to have both of those two feelings, which seems like I was stepping back into another world and have no incompatible feelings temporarily.

American Dream in Taiwan
2012
In this project, I took pictures of wooden inhabitation both in Taiwan and the States. Taiwan just like most of the Pacific-Asia countries was colonized culturally by the States. Open their arms and embrace those caucasian fantasy. Taiwanese consider American style of living as an idea model. We, Taiwanese, tried to mimic American life style by building wooden structure on the slope and named this as “Dream come true”. I try to reveal the nuance of this phenomenon and how this affects our way ...
