Dancers: Ye Bo Sheng;Tsai Pei Shan.

Venue: 1998, Bamboo Curtain Studio. This exhibition is sponsored by National Culture and Arts Foundation, Taiwan.

Heart was my first solo exhibition in Taiwan as well as the first transboundary work. On the heart shaped installation was over 700 pieces of light bulbs installed on top of the plexiglass surface. Video images of mantis, lips, clock, eclipse, New York subway EXIT, etc were accompanied with digitalized electronic music, sounds of Tibetan Sutra recital and railway. Students from School of Dance, Taipei National University of the Arts were invited to perform dance of insects. Against the glittering heart, male and female dancers rambled or followed one another inside the red brick pool. Scenes of love affair, entanglement and primitive desire were put on stage.
