The Moment of Consciousness is an on-site installation that is both “in the gallery space, yet absent in the gallery space.” It is both enclosed and extended. Allowing the viewer to penetrate in between and observe the unnoticeable existence in the gallery from different perspectives. It includes the wall, the floor, the warehouse, and pipelines. As we perceive the moment of our existence through the exploration of space, we consciously find ourselves living in the moment, standing right here right now. My attempt intends to reveal the “process of creation” directly through the exhibition (where the exhibition = artwork) to cover and expose at the same time, to pause at the moment when consciousness arises, and to liberate from meaning.
