The long-term focus of my artwork is investigating the authenticity of and simulating object memories, symbols, and subjects.
For "object read" artwork, I focus on the basic elements of everyday object, using simplification and deletion or layering to give the original form a vague, unidentifiable resemblance. The object reorganization and recreation provides the opportunity for new identification as the viewer considers the link between him or herself and the new form. It also examines in-depth the source of the object essence. When this thought is realized in today's society, it is like the virtual and real connection between objects and people. It produces the quality of indiscernible time and space authenticity, and possesses a hidden, falsely-embellished, vague image. When the line between person and object is blurred, subjectivity is lost, producing the false, interdependent image.
The process of object shaping and meaning resembles 2D image design. Within this thought design, the significant yet purposeless and illogical technique disassembles and reassembles each object. They no longer correspond to any object, being a kind of "non-object" object. This may be regarded as the process of discarding human intelligence, ideology, and temporal and spatial limitations. Through this purification procedure, visible objects, while no longer being the image of any object, are full of mature yet foreign and seemingly familiar thought association. They quietly inspire the viewer's self-dialogue, an introspective reading.
The object space is presented through a diary record of daily life, sorting through independent and ambiguous image order between objects. Objects are the introduction for telling their stories, developing into lines of text thought tracks. These tracks also reflect the connection between self and society, as well as a memory with living attributes.
