On the lot behind a large building, I took snapshots of the building throughout the night. Each light from the building stood in for someone’s room, and in the several-minute intervals between each of my snapshots, some lights came on at the same time while others went out simultaneously. I am connecting these lights together, just as we draw imaginary lines to form constellations out of distant stars.
