According to Taiwan government’s report on unidentified flying object(UFO) crash, there was a UFO smashed to the ground in Tainan on 16, March, 2009 and caused no casualty. Local officials refused to regard it as an airplane or shooting star. Witnesses said that it created large noise before it crashed into wreckage.

The leader of Tainan County proclaimed that he denied any possibility of plane crash because at the time the air traffic command center reported that everything was fine. Several residents saw this UFO appearing and crashing. Some witnesses claimed that they did not think it was a shooting star or a usual aircraft because it had showed up in the sky above Tainan several times before it crashed. Some residents even named it as A-Fu. So far local government was further investigating this incident.
