This is a short documentary recorded by the Artist, Huan Yen Ying during his residence in Indonesia. It captures a local resident’s daily schedule of Lobster fishing. He was nick-named as Mr. lobster by the artist. Huang apply a cheerful rhythm in his editing, and presenting the work of Mr. lobster. During the interview, the artists transforms the contents into poetic narrations as subtitles, which explains the daily routine of Mr. lobster, but sometimes intriguingly contrast to the image at certain parts. The artist says: “when I first came to the place, it was as beautiful as some holiday resort, which amazed me for hours, yet was total meaningless to Mr. lobster, whose mere concern is the number of lobsters captured. The only work I dare claim to be done is the last 5 second when I poured all the lobsters captured by Mr. lobster in the day back to the ocean. I am not sure if it is due to the fact that I paid, but we both laughed. This is the only perfect way I could think of then, we (including the lobsters) all accomplished our work that day.
