Mimicry and camouflage are adaptations that species use as protection from predators. Animals use colors and markings to look like another species in order to reduce the probability to be hunted by their natural enemy.

I used digital manipulated images to express the behavior of mimicry as to reflect on the mutual relations of humans, the environment and environmental impact on people through mimicry behavior. In the photos, walking or just existing in different spaces fuse, interlock, coexist but do not interfere with each other, using industrialized security environments such as barred windows, iron gates, ceramic tiles and cement walls. Adapting spaces passively without aggression is one way to explore an individual's compromise among a social environment. The work tries to ponder the relationships and alienation of people, while avoiding inner conflict and contradiction within oneself.
