Take A Shower was a site-specific performance taking place in a bathroom at AAT Apartment Festival 2011, curated by Kappa Tseng.
This performance shows a reversed process of a shower routine. In a black suit, River Lin takes shower, douses himself in water, and applies soap while keeping the suit on. Gradually He removes his now soaked garments and is in the nude. River squeezes out as much soapy water as possible from the garments to make cups of coffee to share with the audience members.

The idea of using water to cleanse features in many religions but is at the same time a prosaic everyday experience. This performance aims to question what reasons we take a shower
