The painting performance Blue Sunbath is based on the site-specific installation Seasonal Depression, a work dedicated to people who suffered from Winter Blues.

River Lin takes Blue Sunbath as remaking and transformation of the Seasonal Depression by destroying the work. The situation is that a patient who created the false beach returning to the scene to play a game.

He invited people painting the sand blue by throwing blue paintings on his body. When finished, the performance has become the remains/ documentation as well as new appearance of Seasonal Depression.
