I invented my personal diary through 365 short films in the year 2006. Each film records details of my daily life from a few seconds to several minutes. It allows me to keep the important moments I spend with friends, simple things of my life, my journey, my current interests and so on. People can consult this video diary through remote control in selecting particular days according to their interests.

On the other hand, these short films function as the clues in a novel. They form a character whose name is Hsin-yi as mine. People can therefore take a peep at Hsin-yi’s life through this diary without knowing me.

For the people who know me, the films function as postcards.
