Given that Taiwanese folk religion is the anticipated development, then temples, where gods reside, should be the materialization of such spiritual faith. An old temple condenses the expectation raised by the noise reduction of time, with every piece of it awakening the sense of time. In this work, I use traditional technology of temple’s decoration as form called “Ceramics Cutting and Pasting“. And put everything I understand, aspects that are changed, body-related, metaphoric and creation-related and so on, into the basic element for my working on it and in comparison with traditional and modern thinking. I will build the flatness of our time like a traditional craftsman, carrying out by personally taking part and molding a temple of desolation belonging to the god of time.
