Platform Movie is about a 2012-2014 top-floor rental called the Platform Movie Apartment, located next to the Platform 1 in Taipei Shilin MRT Station. The Three Movies portrayed from the inside and outside of the apartment construes my numerous imagination about the city, work and history during the period when I lived in the apartment. The Platform Movie Apartment was opened for public tour on Saturdays and Sundays (by reservation) for two years, from June 1, 2012 to July 13, 2014.

The Platform Movie Apartment contained three parts:
1. 1-3-3 Photography Project: First time visitors to the apartment stood on Waiting Line No. 1-3-3 of Platform 1 in the MRT station. Facing the top floor apartment, their full body photo was taken by the "me" living in the apartment. This was the first important step into the Platform Movie.
2. Platform Movie Coffee: From inside the apartment, visitors drank ice drip coffee while watching the outdoor view of the platform, which was projected onto the glass coffee container using the pinhole principle. The sense of time from contrasting the one-hour wait for the coffee and the 3-minute apart reflected blurred images of trains entering the station was the second part of the platform movie.

3. 1- 4-1 Open-air Theatre: From 10:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight on Monday to Friday, images of Qing Dynasty court artifacts that I photographed for museums and private collectors were projected onto the exterior wall of the apartment balcony. From Waiting Line No. 1-4-1 of Platform 1 in the MRT station (which is to the right of Waiting Line No. 1-3-3), viewers watched skewed images reflected on the outer wall of the neighboring house, where the images were interrupted about once every 3 minutes by trains entering the station.
