Wu-Xia is a specific genre in Chinese cinema. The use of space in the fight scene can be seen as an essential mechanism to enhance the narrative. If the space is extended, the dynamics of narrative would be diluted. The fight scene is sampled from the Wu-Xia movie New One-Armed Swordsman (Chang Cheh, 1971).
