The Supreme Good Is Like Water adopts artistic vocabulary derived from the local culture in Ershuei such as cones symbolizing water basket and arcs symbolizing flowing water for their cultural significance. The structure includes a wind power device and three basic units in different heights made of stainless steel, while they are connected by the arc-shaped stainless steel tube. To look at it from the air, its shape is exactly like how “water baskets” are placed in the water – a famous scene in Ershuei. Integrating many cultural symbols in Ershuei (including wind, water, and water basket), The Supreme Good Is Like Water is a public artwork full of intriguing surprise and fascinating charm.
