I’ve capture images from Taiwan temple activities, to expose the deeper meaning of interaction between "God" and human being. I’m hoping through photography and Taiwan embroidery, as mediums, trying to investigate the complex emotions of Taiwanese people on the "God".
In the images, I pulled out or adjust color deliberately. To implied that people’s dilemma or bursting of the realistic ideal. Thereby brought out realistic photography, beyond the deep invisible of people. The complex relationship of their fear of begging, hoping and asking God.
"Land of Deities", an urban-rural corner of the fantasy journey in Taiwan, to see people’s desire to survive and weakness. The fantastic scene isn’t from "God" Granville, but "human" desire. This work hope to remind the audiences, do not forget to go back to face life by divine inescapable topic after the fugue.
