If the techniques of site-specificity can be used for establishing a local store, then HOWL STORE is the realization of this technique. For fixed elements, I flipped the identity of HOWL Space and returned it to an everyday appearance-back into a store. At the same time, I respond to the fundamental problems that alternative spaces face. For non-fixed elements, I chose contemporary objects that occupy the middle of two definitions (art/design and furniture/sculpture) to weave an urban thread about people and objects. All of this ends after the time period of an exhibition. HOWL STORE, as a store, also becomes a past event.
