“The Theory" and “The Frame" are intertextual. “The Theory" is a stop-motion “lecture" in which the picture is the same frame from beginning to end, but the image behind the speaker will change according to the speaker’s content. A Japanese medical doctor will lead the audience to explore the space inside the intestine and analyze the formation of “diverticulum" with scientific and rational language and abstract colonoscopic images.
