# Taiwan Contemporary Art Archive (TCAA) / 台灣當代藝術資料庫

> TCAA is a bilingual (Traditional Chinese / English) open-access archive documenting Taiwan's contemporary art since the 1980s. It is maintained by the Association of Visual Arts in Taiwan (AVAT / 台灣視覺藝術協會) and has been publicly accessible since February 2014. The database records over 526 artists, 6,735 artworks, 28,775 images and videos, and 150 keyword entries, forming a knowledge constellation that connects artists, curators, and art critics through thematic threads. Content originates in Chinese and is progressively translated into English.
