Jen-Ta Liu, or formerly known as Jin-Da Lin, was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan in 1983. He graduated from the Tainan National University of the Arts with a Master of Fine Arts degree in 2010. He currently resides in Taipei, where he specializes in museum display design and also engages in art creation. In the early years, he founded the "NO" mountaineering community in online forums and developed a series of anonymous land art creations, and he founded nature writing for online collaborative editing. Between 2012 and 2014, he founded a private cinema, Platform Movie, in a penthouse apartment next to Shilin MRT station. In 2017, he re-established childhood memories of the aquarium with his "An Annual Report on the Public Aquarium." It combined museum studies and existential philosophy and described the interactions between an individual's internal experience and collective memories through text, images, objects and modification of an actual space. His works have been exhibited in Taipei, Seoul, Ho Chi Minh, Berlin, New York City, Minneapolis and Venice.
