Terushima Clock Shop was established in an old building on Section 1, Zhong-Shan North Road by a Japanese owner before World War II. One of the Taiwanese shopkeepers, Deng took over the shop after the war. The building had been transformed into an izakaya bar, but retained its overall architectural design up until now.
