At the moment when death is approaching,
The last sparkle of the Universe
Is spreading toward the end of the world.
Approaching, approaching, approaching,
The border between life and death.

Adopting the concept of environmental theatre, Approaching integrates installations and elements such as the abandoned rails of the sugar factory’s cane trains, the north-south trains on the other side of the wall roaring past, high towers, fireballs, square frames, seats, and drapes. The performance began at sunset. As the location is transformed into a historical site where human activities turn into the spiritual atmosphere, the performance evokes the memory of the space. Breath lingers between life and death. The approaching moment is the most sacred moment.
