This piece was co-produced with two other Taiwanese artists at Gaswork in London, UK. One is a painter and the other is a dancer. The colorful drawing on the wall was done by the painter. The black drawing and the sound installation on the floor was my work. The dancer performed some improvised dances on the opening day to interact with the space and sound installation. Afterward, the floor was opened for audience for improvisation. The video shows my interaction with one of the audience through this piece of work.
I was more open in this piece on providing a creative platform for audience to interact. The conductive ink sound installation on the floor was different from old ones on the wall. Full body actions and sound connect more freely; audience would dance even before knowing it. This is a very relaxing and pleasant piece of work for me; actions in this space create some fun and imagination. The sound produced during interactions and the casual images on the wall also create dialogues.
