Glass bottle was a ready-made object I frequently used for installation when I was studying graduate school in New York. It was then developed into a tower powered by a pump motor so water was pumped to the tower top and circulated down to the bottom. This water flow signifies the natural mechanism of sexuality between two sexes. The work was first exhibited during the open studio in Brooklyn, New York City. Among the visitors was Mr. Geno Rodriguez, Director of The Alternative Museum New York, who then invited me to present this work in a group exhibition “Expansion Arts: Artists of Our Time II”. The work was finalized by installing underwater lighting and adding a platform full of plastic bottle lids.
